Retailers are Warned by Alliance About Risks of Fraud
Alliance sales director warns of the dangers for businesses against retail crime.
Alliance corporate risk management has warned businesses and restaurants alike to take responsibility and take particular measures to protect themselves against retail crime.
Alliances Sales director Dominic Roe has stated “The state of the economy can have more impact on our businesses than people realise, as well as a decrease in consumer spending and a rise of overheads, a rise in theft and vandalism can follow closely after. Roe further states “With a whole host of increasing criminal activity coming under the retail crime umbrella its not surprising that the credit crunch can inadvertently lead to both a loss in profits, productivity and the demoralisation of staff”.
Regardless of fraud, retailers should ensure that they have adequate shop insurance.
