Neil Cook joins Kay International to focus on Unusual Risks
The highly respected insurance broker Neil Cook, has joined the long established city brokerage Kay International plc who share a common view that those clients who have faced difficulty with arranging insurance due to criminal convictions or other unusual risk factors, deserve a new approach. Superquote.com has partnered with Kay International to introduce clients looking for ex offender insurance and other hard to place risks.
As well as ex offenders, Kay International will also be focussing on a number of hard to place risks including insurance for flooded homes.
Kay International have a launched the Lifeline facility which encompasses and expands upon Neil Cooks long established Newhope products offering an affordable flexible range of household and commercial insurance for ex offenders and their families, as well as other risks including poor claims history, and the like.
The first major task undertaken by this new alliance will be the vast investment in technology to help ex offenders find cover after disclosing their convictions via price comparison sites, at present the practice used by comparison sites is to offer a suit all product that places the onus onto the client to understand they must disclose a conviction. This exposes 20% of teh adult population with a criminal conviction to committing further offences.
The new online product range, starting with household insurance will be appearing late summer but, in the meantime Neil Cook welcomes enquiries from clients. Brokers and comparison sites as well as the home office and ex offender charities to resolve these issues faced by the excluded. Neil Cook can contacted on 020 8850 9697 or email Neilc@kayint.co.uk
