Families Make Sure of What Your Home Insurance Policy Covers

An ex thief warns families of the importance of security to their homes and how thief’s will be tempted by weak points in a property.

SaferLancashire state that the majority of burglaries are taken out by opportunist thieves which means they have got into the house with little or no force. Ex burglar Michael Fraser warned the public that opportunists look for windows without locks and front doors with a solitary catch.

He further states that “If the front of a property looks weak it doesn’t mean he’s going to go by the front, he’ll go round the back.” He continued to comment that thieves look out for pets as this will mean a house is not using an alarm system. A thief can strike at any time therefore you should be certain on exactly what your home insurance covers in case of a break-in.
