BIBA - Motor Insurance Cover Unaffected by Economy
A leading insurance expert says an uncertain economic climate is not impacting on the availability of cover for Britain's motorists, confirming even those struggling will be able to find the right policy.
A spokesperson for the British Insurance Brokers Association (BIBA), has confirmed despite the unpredictable economic situation the availability of cover for motorists will not be affected. Graeme Trudgill confirmed the market remains healthy and continued to add there were “no concerns” and added: “Motor insurance is so competitive that the markets made an underwriting loss nine out of the last ten years.”
Mr Trudgill explained that even those people who may currently be struggling with the climate how it is, he believed they can have options in terms of opting to pay in instalments or they could take up short term policies.
British Insurance Brokers Association (BIBA), are the UKs leading general insurance organisation, they represent the interests of insurance brokers, intermediaries and customers, and have partner members from the leading companies in the insurance industry.
