APC Launches New Tradesmen Insurance Policy

APC, a leading underwriting agency specialising in commercial and liability insurance, have announced the launch of a tradesmen insurance policy.
The product has more than 2,500 cover variations to cover in excess of 80 trades. APC say the product offers wider than standard cover with up to ten manual workers and clerical employees in addition.

The policy also offers liability and contractors all risks cover under a single policy – Often these cover levels need to be arranged in separate policies. APC have also upgraded their IT systems so that brokers can get very fast quotes on even complex risks.

Ian Russell of APC said: “This is easily our biggest launch to date on account of the sheer effort that has gone into its development – that plus the infrastructure changes we have made to ensure it operates smoothly.

We are obviously proud of what has been achieved but particularly in an era when insurers are looking closely at the value MGAs can offer.
