Admiral Report Record Profits

Welsh based isnurance group, Admiral, have reported record pre tax profits in excess of £105million in the six months to the end of June.

The profits are a result of increasing prices in the insurance market as well as an increasing number of clients.

The group which consists of the brands Admiral, Diamond and Elephant; as well as the price comparison service, Confused.com.

The results have allowed Admiral to announce a dividend of 27.7p and give each staff member 1,500 shares in the group. 

The group continues to develop price comparison and insurance operations overseas in Spain, Germany and the USA.
