Mazda have always been slightly more eccentric than the other Japanese car manufacturers, both in terms of styling (the current RX-8 coupe with its rear-opening 'suicide doors' being a case in point) and engineering. Whilst the sporty rotary-engined RX-8 is the attention-grabber of the current line-up Mazda sell a full range of more conventional but still quirky cars in the UK.
