Superquote Terms: Panel

A panel refers to a number of insurance schemes which an insurance broker may have access to.

An insurance broker works with insurers to use schemes which the insurer underwriters have created.  An insurance broker will have access to many schemes and will compare premiums, excess and terms on a number of policies for their client.

Having multiple schemes and being able to compare them is often referred to as a brokers 'panel of insurers'.

Superquote has teamed up with a number of brokers to help you find cheap insurance for a number of schemes and our partners use panels for the vast majority of our products including pub insurance, shop insurance and office insurance.
