Superquote Terms - IN10 Motoring Conviction
An IN10 motoring conviction is the most common conviction code used for drivers who have been convicted of driving without motor insurance. In the UK this is a significant offence and can carry significant penalties for repeat offenders.
First time offenders may receive 6 points and a fine of £180 but the penalties can be far more serious depending on the incident.
Often the offence will carry an accompanying ban if it does not already lead to the driver being banned for totting up. Inexperienced drivers with the newer rules regarding bans for drivers with points in the early stage of their driving experience will almost certainly have to resit their driving exams.
Finding insurance after an IN10 conviction can be tough as many insurers will not insure people with this code on their licence. Click here for IN10 insurance or here for banned driver insurance.
