Superquote Glossary - FLEE - Fire, Lightening, Earthquake, Explosion

This term relates to a level of cover offered typically to property that is unoccupied.  FLEE essentially restricts the level of protection in a policy to Fire, Lightening, Earthquake and Explosion.

It is common to find this cover offered on homes where serious renovation work is underway.  On a major rebuilding, redecoration or restoration project, a property can be unoccupied for some time and many insurers will offer a FLEE policy to protect the risks listed above.
