Rehabilitation of Offenders Act
The Rehabillitation of Offenders Act tells ex offenders how long they need to declare their convictions to an insurance company. All setences have 'rehabilitation periods' which commence when an offender is first convicted. Once the period has finished, the offence is considered 'spent'. If you were under the age of eighteen when the offence was committed, then this period is halved.
